
Hello and welcome! I am so glad you’re here. My name is Stephanie Koval, owner of Events by Steph.
My background in hospitality started in college, working as a banquet server. For about two years, I worked early mornings, late nights, and every kind of event imaginable. The event I always looked forward to working was weddings. From there I worked my way up to Catering Sales Manager, and then ultimately became Assistant General Manager of the Aloft Cleveland Downtown in the Flats. Those roles allowed me to deepen my experience in event execution, logistics, client communication, and leadership.
I began to explore new things and started working in Marketing. While my current job is great, I found myself missing events and hospitality. When my beautiful friends, Cordy and Colin, announced they were getting married I offered to help with whatever they may need. They graciously allowed me to coordinate their special day. From that moment on, I began building what is now Events by Steph.
